The house has four double/twin bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is a huge open plan kitchen, diner, lounge and a separate salon with flat screen television receiving both English Freeview channels and French digital stations. The fully fitted kitchen boasts all new appliances including dishwaher and American style fridge/freezer.

There  are several private terraces with a barbecue and outside furniture. There is a table tennis table and table football table and plenty of space for ball games. Within the grounds there is a small vineyard and the English owners (who live in a separate house on site) are on hand for impromptu tours of the vines and also have an extensive cave stocked with local wine that they are happy to sell to guests at vineyard prices. ​While they are on hand to answer any questions and help in any way they can to make sure your stay is as perfect as possible, you will not find them intrusive.

Situated within 10 mins drive from Hautefort, with its magnificent chateau and severals cafes and restaurants, the house is also within easy reach of Sarlat (45mins) and Perigueux (40 mins). Montignac, with the world famous Lascaux caves, is also close by (30mins).
